casualOver the last 15 years, I have worked in various industries and countries. I’ve worked with, learned from, and managed amazing people. While the bulk of my experience is in marketing, sales, and management, I have had the pleasure of being a teacher, trainer, mentor, speaker for many groups, organizations, and individuals. After 9 years of marketing and management within the financial sector, I left in 2006 to exclusively manage a strategic marketing consulting firm.

As for educational opportunities:
In 1994, I was honored to be chosen to represent the United States as a Young Ambassador working and studying abroad in Germany through the Congress-Bundestag Exchange. This experience afforded me the opportunity to meet/travel with foreign dignitaries, giving me a great deal of insight into foreign policy.
In 1996, I returned to working full time in the US. I payed my way through college, working full time. By 2004, when I graduated with highest honors, I was already managing the marketing operations of a Fortune 500 subsidiary. My studies in Management and Leadership did help me refine my management style. As I see it, leadership is about service to others. Great leaders provide vision and inspiration to their teams. Management is about placing the right people in charge and empowering them to do the job that needs to get done.
